The IKM's continuing and executive education programmes are primarily aimed at employees with experience in the field of communication or marketing/sales management wishing to deepen their professional know-how, expand or change their career field, assume management tasks (if not already performing them), or professionalise their management practices. The continuing and executive education programmes are equally suitable for employees in companies, organisations, public institutions and agencies/consultancies.
Together with their personal communication and leadership skills, the acquired expertise and enhanced methodological knowledge offered by the three programmes – MAS Communication Management , MAS Brand and Marketing Management , and MAS Digital Marketing and Communication Management – enable students to perform management functions in the areas of communication, marketing, brand management, product management and sales.
Completing one of the three MAS programmes involves combining three CAS programmes from a current selection of fifteen: two CAS from the related MAS programme and a third CAS from the overall programme. In addition, a diploma semester of approximately five months must be completed, during which the master's thesis (freely selectable) is written and an oral examination taken. Participants are also required to provide a transfer assignment in the form of a learning diary, which they must keep during their studies.
Alternatively, the fourteen CAS programmes can also be taken singly to acquire expertise in a specific area.
In-house training courses
A further option is the development of training courses specifically tailored to the needs of companies and delivered on their premises.
