International real estate markets, targeting investment strategies and unique and innovative real estate projects and concepts are an important part of MScRE. In order to discover a new market, a real estate excursion to Vienna took place in the 2nd semester of the MScRE. Hereby, the real estate markets in CEE were analyzed in a structured way and investment strategies and opportunities were critically discussed. In addition to several presentations, selected project developments were visited with a focus on disruptive projects in Vienna, such as the Vienna Twin Tower, the Donau City, the Quartier Belvedere Central district or the Rivergate.
“Based on an equilibrated and targeting mixture of first-class lectures, informative company visits and selected project developments, a very good understanding of the real estate market and investment opportunities in Vienna and the CEE markets was achieved”, concludes Prof. Dr. Michael Trübestein, director of the MScRE program.
