As a result of globalization, companies evolve to become „global players“, regardless of whether they are large scale or small and medium-sized enterprises. This raises the stakes for management and employees to find their way in the “global village”. However, the fundamental management skills have not developed to such an extent as to overcome the urging and pressing international and intercultural challenges that are being faced.
A competence orientated continuing training program should meet the requirements and challenges of globalization. For this reason the IBR in cooperation with partner schools offer several attractive educational study weeks on a continuing basis. The aim is not to ponder on a country specific do’s and dont's or to offer generic educational programs taught through our partner institutions. On the contrary, the focus lies on offering special competences and specific advanced training options provided by our partners, incorporating the proficient and convincing quality of the School of Business, Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
