Keynote Speaker: Joseph F. Paris, Jr., Founder and President at OpEx Society

Joseph F

Joseph F. Paris Jr. 

Joseph is a recognized thought leader on operational excellence, an international entrepreneur, prolific writer, and sought-after strategist, consultant, and speake. With over 30 years of experience in international business and operations, he is routinely called upon to guide C-suite and senior executives and business-improvement specialists seeking to enhance their organizations' efficiency and effectiveness. His end-goal is to help create high-performance individuals working in high-performance teams for high-performance organizations.

Joseph currently serves on the Advisory Boards of the School of Systems Science and Industrial Engineering (SSIE) at Binghamton University's Watson College of Engineering, the Department of Industrial Engineering & Management and RV College of Engineering (Bangalore, India), the Institute of Industrial and Systems Engineers (IISE), and the New York Chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG). He was previously an Adjunct Professor at Cornell University's Johnson School of Management.

Prof. Dr. Sebastian Huber

Following 7 years in international sales and marketing roles within the ICT sector, Sebastian held various global positions in Marketing, Retail and Strategic Management with luxury brands Montblanc and Wellendorff between 2008 and 2017. Sebastian lectures and researches at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts -Business with a focus on the B2B sharing economy, service transformation in luxury brands and international management. He heads the executive programs at the Institute for Business and Regional Economics while consulting international start-up entrepreneurs and SMEs.

Sebastian holds a dual degree Master / MBA in International Business and Economics (China Focus) from Fudan University (Shanghai) and Hamburg University (Germany) and a DBA degree from Silpakorn University (Bangkok).

Björn is a commercially driven leader with a proven track record in growth, marketing, and business development. He currently serves as Business Development Director for DACH & Europe at EFQM, where his focus is on embedding the EFQM Excellence Model more deeply within Swiss and European organizations through assessments, trainings, and hands-on guidance along the path to excellence.

Marco Schöpf

Marco Schöpf, Head of Quality Management & Sustainability Logistic Service at Swiss Post

Marco has been working as Head of Quality Management and Sustainability for several years. In addition to his Executive MBA in Marketing, he has gained valuable experience at companies such as Helvetia, SwissLife and Swiss Post. His expertise covers the areas of Operational Excellence (OPEX), Lean Management, Business Excellence, Customer Experience Management (CEM), Agility and Sustainability. He supports companies with their strategic direction and sustainable transformation, placing particular emphasis on practical and effective implementation.

Michael Grund

Prof. Dr. Michael Grund, Co-Head CAS in Business Excellence at the Lucerne School of Business

Michael serves as Co-Head of the CAS Business Excellence programme and Co-Head of the MAS Business Management. His academic and applied work sits at the intersection of service excellence, customer experience, and strategic management — bringing both scholarly rigor and practical relevance to the field of business excellence. A prolific author, he has contributed to leading marketing and quality management publications and serves as a reviewer for the Marketing Review St. Gallen and Pearson Verlag.
