Overview

Specific management skills are required both at home and abroad to build and run an organization that caters to a global customer base, benefits from international supply chain networks, designs and runs business processes across borders and recruits the best internationally available talents to build organizational structures with a global mindset.

Participants in the CAS International Management acquire the skills to tackle the international management implications for the 21st century. They are empowered to build and develop an internationally competitive organization to seize business opportunities and face challenges in an international environment, both at home and abroad. Building on proven concepts and the practical expertise of internationally experienced experts, the program provides explicit and tacit knowledge on successfully managing internationally.

Target group

We designed this program for (prospective) managers who will apply management procedures and tools to increase the international responsiveness and competitiveness of their organization, based on far-sighted projections of international market and stakeholder needs.

Requirements

Graduation from a university of applied sciences, university, professional examination, higher technical examination or higher technical school (tertiary degree). Applicants without a tertiary degree may be admitted in exceptional cases through a standardized admission procedure ("sur dossier"). Participants must have a good command of English; at least level B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required, level C1 is recommended. Please submit with your application a recognized certificate attesting to your English proficiency. If this is not available, it is also possible to request an individual assessment of your language level. At least 2 years of professional experience in a professional field relevant to the executive education program.

The Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts /Hochschule Luzern is accredited in accordance with the Swiss Federal Higher Education Act, HEdA. 

Moreover, the Lucerne School of Business at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts has been awarded the well-known international AACSB accreditation.

 
Remarks

Throughout the program, the language of instruction is English. The assignments can be written in either English or German. You need to master English on an advanced level (C1 or high B2). Please either provide a recognized certificate demonstrating your English language skills or contact us for an individual assessment.
