With Smart-up, entrepreneurial students, employees and alumni of the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts benefit from a wide range of support services: Individual coaching, infrastructure (e.g. company address and co-working space) and matching with other students and external partners are just as much a part of the innovative program as inspirational workshops and events.
Smart-up also promotes exciting opportunities for students to shape their studies as a
start-up garage: In various modules and courses, students acquire important entrepreneurial knowledge and skills. In particular, entrepreneurial students are offered the elective module
Start-up Accelerator, in which you may autonomously develop your business idea or start-up and earn 3 ECTS for your qualified and quantified start-up commitment. More information on the procedure is available on
MyCampus. Furthermore, they may generate valuable synergies between their studies and their start-up by writing their student theses (e.g. bachelor or master thesis) on a topic related to their business case.
