In total, there are 100 workplaces with power sockets available in the library. They cannot be booked in advance.
On the upper floor, there are 54 single workplaces for quiet learning available to the library users. Those wishing for more privacy can use the mobile partition screens supplied. The workplaces on the ground floor include a large communal table (8 workplaces) as well as three lounges with sofas and a small newspaper lounge. They can be used for individual and group work. The ground floor is designed as a zone for communication.
Thanks to the “Roominfo", you can always check if there are any free places—and how many there are—in your library. It also provides an overview of all ZHB locations, including a map of the library.
There are twelve lockers available on the ground floor of the library of the Lucerne School of Business. You can rent a key from the information desk and use it for a month at a time. Replacement of a locker key incurs a processing charge of CHF 30.

You may use your HSLU-Card, your CampusCard or your old Lucerne ZHB user card as a photocopy card. A book scanner is available on the ground floor, which can be used free of charge and without borrowing. A notebook with the appropriate software (see explanatory video) is required to use it. To install the software, you should ideally have administrator rights for your notebook. Alternatively, you can also use one of our loan notebooks on which the software is already pre-installed. You can find more detailed information on installing the software and using the book scanner in our instructions.
