Ladies and gentlemen,
students, continuing and executive education students and cooperation partners
Welcome! Rooted in the heart of Central Switzerland, the Lucerne School of Business is your competence centre for higher education in management.
Expansive history with local roots
What began in 1971 with a handful of lecturers and 26 students has, thanks to broad support from politicians, the business community and the local population, grown to become one of Switzerland's most important business schools, with around 2,000 students attending bachelor's and master's degree programmes and the same number again engaging in continuing and executive education and further training. A cornerstone of the School’s successful trajectory are the close ties it maintains with Central Switzerland’s vocational training institutions and industry partners.
Central Swiss competence centre
The School currently maintains a strong profile in areas which are important economically and socially, including banking and finance, business and regional economics, communication and marketing, and tourism and mobility. This broad thematic orientation contributes to our reputation as the pre-eminent centre of excellence for higher education in management in Central Switzerland.
