Generating energy using photovoltaic technology is becoming evermore important in urban areas. In the form of a kit system, my work provides the design base for the aesthetic deployment of photovoltaics on facades. Due to the variety of different combinations of the individual elements, varied facade designs are created. The designs consciously play with the close-up and far-away appearance, generating shifting colour impressions from various distances.
The work is part of a project by the Products & Textiles Research Group of the Lucerne School of Art and Design.
