Instead of the classic admission procedure with portfolio presentations, a 24-hour admission day is held since 2018 for the applicants to the Bachelor in Fine Arts and Art & Design Education. Our goal is to challenge existing structures at art schools by establishing a personal dialogue with future students right from the start. Applicants decide on their own what they want to present during the event throughout the 24 hours. This could be an exhibition, a reading, a round table, a concert, a performance, an intervention, a film screening, a cooking group, a city walk or even a classic portfolio review. Anything goes.
24 hours, rich in conversation, performance, art and experimentation. The time together is intense, we are discussing our interests, confronting one another with new ideas and concepts – and so running a risk together.
If you want to apply for the new academic year 2020, or have questions about the study programme or the 24-h Admission day, please contact us any time. We can gladly give you more information, either in person at the university, by phone or email.
The next 24-h Admission day takes place from
6 to 7 April 2020, from 5pm until 5pm.
Please register until Friday, 14 February 2020 (registration starts in December 2019).
