Bachelor of Arts in Product and Industrial Design with a concentration in Object Design
As authors and service providers, object designers work on a wide range of issues relevant to culture and business and develop independent, benefit-oriented, production-oriented, sustainable solutions that are of a high artistic quality. They work in the development teams of companies or design agencies, or they work independently. They can license their product ideas with a producer or found their own label and sell their products on their own. The Bachelor of Arts in Object Design also qualifies graduates for a consecutive Master of Arts in Design with a specialisation in Product Design or Service Design.
You can find all necessary information on admission requirements on the Admission Procedure and Requirements page in the information on the degree programme > Aufnahmeverfahren und Zulassungsbedingungen (available in German only)
The admission procedure consists of two parts. Assuming that the application has been submitted on time, the applicant is then required to submit a portfolio of his or her work and complete an art-related task. This will determine whether he or she is invited for an interview.
Further details can be found on the Information on the admission process.
