Why should you attend the Swiss Design & Art Summer School?
The Lucerne School of Art and Design has long been a meeting point for innovation and tradition, joining the two instead of cultivating them separately, benefitting from synergies and interactions. Emerging designs run through workshops well equipped with ancient machinery as well as digital laboratories, no matter what the final output will be.
The manual printmaking workshops will offer a concise introduction to ancient and modern techniques as well as the school’s characteristic experimental approach on which subsequent development of the designs in other professional workshops such as the digital processing of the printed image into Virtual or Mixed Reality formats will be based. Participants will leave the course with a proficient set of techniques, tools and methods easy and valuable to take home.
