In the inspirational environment of the Lucerne School of Art and Design we provide our students with professional and practical supervision as they make new discoveries and acquire new learning and new skills. The School offers two continuing and executive education programmes, which are attended on a work-study basis. Cultural Management can lead to a Certificate of Advanced Studies CAS or a Master of Advanced Studies MAS, while Design management leads to a CAS. Our programmes are aimed at holders of university degrees (academic or applied sciences) or professionals with proven employment-related experience. The Basics of Art and Design course is for prospective students wishing to get the best possible preparation for the Foundation Course. In the Sustainability for Teachers of Art and Design course, participants acquire foundational knowledge in, and design tools for, sustainability alongside tried and tested approaches, experimental ideas and ways to integrate the topic in the curriculum.
