At the Lucerne School of Art and Design, four research groups collaborate in Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) and Innosuisse-funded applied projects with national and international partner institutions from industry, the creative economy, culture and public offices. International co-operations are continuously expanded to provide opportunities for research groups to participate in international projects and to create a path for junior researchers to gain a PhD from doctorate-granting partner universities.
