The course offers a complete introduction to statistical modeling using R. The course is articulated in three blocks, each targeting a specific learning goal:
- review of linear regression modeling to introduce R formulas and basic operative practices;
- using linear models to fit non-linear relationships (interactive models)
- The generalised linear model for limited dependent variables (classification, proportions, event counts).
Course participants will be guided through the intermediate and more advanced elements of statistical modeling in R, refreshing basic concepts for more effective learning. The course includes both theoretical introductions and hands-on exercises.
