HSLU Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts is one of the research partners involved in Resilient Tourism Flagship Project that is supported by Innosuisse. The project has been designed to proactively respond to the challenges of digital transformation by empowering the travel sector with reliable data, new business models, process and experiences and tools for designing resilient tourism systems, while fostering the cross-fertilisation of communities of practice. The project is designed and managed by six research institutions and over 30 industry partners.
The aim of the Flagship annual conference is to create a live forum both for the flagship project partners and for all other interested and related to digital transformation in tourism.
The second edition of the conference to be held in 2024, exactly at the halfway point in the Flagship Project's work. It will be a good opportunity to summarise the work conducted so far, to present the first use cases and, more importantly, to work collaboratively on the next challenges.
The Flagship Conference in 2024 will be organised by the Institute of Tourism and Mobility ITM.
The first Flagship Annual conference was organized by EHL Hospitality Business School on 24th February 2023 in Lausanne.
Flagship conference participants are also invited to attend the Advances in Destination Management ADM 2024 Conference, which starts on the evening of 4 June and continues until Friday, 7 June 2024.
More information about the Flagship conference will be published in the next months.
