Biografie

 

Prof. Dr. Janko Auerswald ist Dozent für Werkstoffkunde und Leiter des Werkstofflabors an der Hochschule Luzern. Nach seinem Studium der Werkstoff- und Ingenieurwissenschaften an der Technischen Universität Berlin und an der BGSU (Stipendium USA) promovierte er an der Universität Ulm bei Leibniz-Preisträger Prof. Dr. H.-J. Fecht. 

Am Hahn-Meitner-Institut Berlin, Max-Planck-Institut Stuttgart und CSEM Schweiz forschte er auf den Gebieten der Hochtemperatur-Superlegierungen, der epitaktischen Halbleiterstrukturen sowie der Mikro- und Nanotechnologien. 

In Kaderpositionen bei TRUMPF Schweiz und V-ZUG AG wirkte er an der Entwicklung neuer Produkte und Technologien in der Lasermaterialbearbeitung, in der Oberflächentechnik und im Bereich nachhaltiger Haushaltsgeräte mit. Berufsbegleitend schloss Janko Auerswald verschiedene Weiterbildungen erfolgreich ab, u.a. in den Bereichen Technologie, Management und Betriebswirtschaft sowie in Hochschuldidaktik.

Janko Auerswald ist Mitglied im Schweizerischen Verband für Materialwissenschaft und Technologie (SVMT). Er wurde als Session Chair für internationale Fachtagungen und als Peer Reviewer für wissenschaftliche Journale gewählt.
