The student module Israel-Palestine deals with the geographical-political region and its corresponding questions using creativity and reflection. The students learn about different research methods, which are accompanied through the changing use of media and discussed critically. The module requires a high degree of self-organization and independent learning. The students develop precise and empathetic communication which is expressed by an artistic work.
About 800 Fr. for travel expenses, living costs, entrance fees/guided tours are to be paid by the participants.
The module is based on a student proposal. Compared to other modules, the degree of self-organized and self-reliant work is higher. The content of this student-initiated module is developed from a creative proposition, which is envisioned in the theme and, in exchange with the student group, tested and put into practice. Individual creativity and reflection is intertwined with acquiring knowledge, preparation, personal experiences and exchange on-site in Israel and Palestine. The Salon IDA events are an integral part of the module.
