How to engineer your future?
How to sustain your world?
How to sustain your world?
Sustainability is central to the future plans of governments, companies and civil authorities alike. This is especially true when it comes to energy, the driver of growth for the past hundred years. When looking to cover our energy needs we are all increasingly faced with the challenge of addressing social solidarity, environmental responsibility and economic capacity; whether it may be on a local or a global level. Faced with these challenges for survival, mankind is standing at a crossroads. Governments, industry and consultancies all need individuals who are able to balance energy use and all three aspects of sustainability. According to a recent study, 34 percent of all companies in Switzerland are related or substantially impacted by energy aspects.
It is not only a question of being able to judge the best technology to reduce waste or to be most efficient, it is crucial to optimize the operation of any system with pragmatism based on the criteria of sustainability.
