CC IIMSN is active in research and development of new technologies and applications targeted for - enabling product innovations for the markets and customers of our
industrial partners
- offering students of the Bachelor and Master study programs Electrical
Engineering, Information Technologies and Business Engineering an
interesting and application oriented learning and training environment.
Depending on their technical skills and experiences our Bachelor or Master students of the departments Electrical Engineering (EE), Information Technology (IT) or Business Engineering (WII) are directly employed in our projects, either through industrial projects or thesis as part of their normal curriculum or by part time work as technical employees in our CC. It should be noted that most of these students have a technical qualification already before they start their studies (Vocational Diploma).
We typically grant our students the responsibility for a project sub-task or work package where they are supervised by an expert of the CC – an ideal learning environment.
For Bachelor or Master students of Electrical Engineering or Information Technologies as well as more technically oriented students from Business Engineering such tasks or work packages might be the design, realisation and testing of an electronics board, where they apply state-of-the-art electronic simulation and design tools, or the design, realization, testing and integration of a software module, depending on their individual existing skills and ambitions.

Typische Aufgabenstellungen für WI-Studierende
For Master-of-Engineering MSE students we offer specific opportunities on order to conduct their studies in our CC, possibly in parallel to a part time employment in our CC.
