Prof. Larry J. Leifer, Director of the Centre for Design Research at Stanford University, carried out a two and a half day Design Thinking workshop in the course of the study week Interdisciplinary Design. The workshop was held in cooperation with our lecturer in industrial design, Prof. Martin Iseli and Norbert Meier. 25 Business Engineering students from the third academic year attended this workshop in the FabLab of the Lucerne School of Engineering and Architecture. Tobias Pforr, innovation manager at Sulzer Innotec, introduced various problems encountered in daily business at Sulzer, which were then dealt with in teams.
